We camp frequently at the state park. Always clean bathrooms and grounds.

This is my favorite state park. The park is very clean and the facilities are well maintained. The staff is very friendly. Birding is great, with an abundance of both waterfowl and songbirds. The pelicans are a sight to see. The trout pond is beautiful and peaceful. The trails are in great shape and easy to follow.

Nice park. My dog and I like to hike the little trout pond trail. Really peaceful little pond and I enjoy watching the families fish. The picnic area is really pretty with great views of the lake and the boat launch and fishing pier. The beach is really small and other parks like Cooper and Daingerfiled have nicer and more expanded beach areas. The little shop had no snacks and limited drinks and not much else. Kind of disappointing considering other parks have a bit more offerings, so be prepared!
