This rescue allows adoptions on what could be considered a trial basis. How is that an adoption? That is NOT a commitment to the animal. I have to question the organizations integrity. Their volunteers lied on multiple occasions, and when the question of an adopters fitness was offered the executive director, adoption coordinator and an executive member were apathetic at best.
Business response:
Our adoption contract offers a 30 day trial built in - if the horse doesn't work out for any reason, the adopter can return him for a full refund within the first 30 days. We do this because we want happy horses and happy adopters - and most folks think this is a huge benefit. I'm sorry you did not get to adopt the horse you wanted. We do take our adoption policy and procedures seriously, and are comfortable we're doing a good job with them.

This rescue is run by big-hearted, hard-working and realistic folks who seek to place the horses in the "right" home. They also track all the adopted horses to be sure they are safe & cared for.
They were very accommodating the horse was extremely well fostered and we are very happy that she was adopted by my girlfriend. She, the mare is also very happy
