You can adopt or foster great horses. They take very good care of the horses that end up in their care.
We can't say enough wonderful things about Bluebonnet. Everyone we talked with was so helpful, supportive and encouraging in helping us to find just THE right horse for our family. Foster family, challenge trainer, adoption coordinator, everyone gave us so much info. on Eli, worked out our visit with him, trailering him, etc. every part of our adoption. We are so thrilled with Eli and could not be happier with our experience with Bluebonnet. Will definitely adopt through them again (when we have room for another horse !)
Recently adopted our Mare CASSIOPEIA. She is exactly how they described her. I was very impressed with the way they foster out their horses. They get individualized attention they deserve.
Helps save and place unwanted horses
I volunteered at the recent Bluebonnet Expo in Sanger, Tx. This is a group that is doing horse rescue the right way. The horses were in excellent condition and the event was very well run! The quality of horses was quite good and the show was fun for all. The tack sale has some excellent bargains.
BEHS is wonderful! I have adopted 2 equines so far - one did not work out as hoped, and it was painless to return it to a foster home. The second one is an absolutely perfect match for our family!! The people involved are kind and try to be as accommodating as possible, ensuring what is best for both the horse and the adopter’s needs/desires. The Expos are a lot of fun, and can be very educational. Reputable rescue worth supporting!
