I have worked in animal welfare for many years. Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society is one of the best rescues I have worked with. I admire how much they do to rescue horses and then not only do they care for them, they also do everything they can to make these horses safe and adoptable. Please consider fostering, donating and adopting from this great organization!
This is a fantastic organization that I have supported, volunteered for and followed for years. If you care about equines, you can’t go wrong by being involved with BEHS!
I have been associated with this rescue for 20+/- years. I was honored to do neglect/abuse investigations and to work with law enforcement knowing BEHS was the most respected rescue. Pre/post-adoption investigations were mandatory to assure equine well-being. Jennifer Taylor Williams has created and her team has organized a well recognized rescue and should not be mistaken for any other.
Bluebonnet is THE most reputable equine rescue I've ever known. They are upfront with their financials and provide tons of progress photos. They work tirelessly every day of the year and honestly I couldn't recommend them higher. The kindest people on the planet! This is the organization you'll want to give your money and volunteer time to.
We have 5 horse from Bluebonnet,and each one was in perfect health. They were represented well and we received a lot of help in making sure we were prepared to care for them.
