rude office staff – the physician and the nurse I had contact with were excellent. The office staff at my first appointment were not friendly. When I called for a follow-up which they had said was to be in 3-4 months the office staff held very firm stating there was no way possible an appointment could be made in less than 6 months out. Long wait for appts. Rude staff. – Blue Ridge called me to reschedule an appointment due to a conflict on their side. That was fine, except for the fact that the earliest appointment they had was over 6 months later! I really liked the doctor and the medical staff, so I hated to leave for another practice, but I was very disatisified with the long waits for appointments and the attitude of the office staff. I was a patient there for over 3 years and they treated me like I was not at all important to them.
GOOD REVIEW – I am really confused. I have had nothing but good experiances with Blue Ridge Dermatology's staff. Everyone from the people on the phone to the medical personal and the ladies at check-out have always been friendly. People are complaining about how long it takes to get an appointment if you're a new patient. WELL, YEAH!!! This is a specialist not your family doctor. Sadly the previous reviews are correct! – We I called and appreantly this is true...No appts until April.Staff very rude, seems like they are upset and bewildred you would even dare to call and interupt their day with bothersome issues like " new patient" I called another Dermatologist very nice and helpful and got an appt in 2 weeks!
Blue Ridge Dermatology – I just called today (September 25, 2007) to make an appointment. Initially, the first lady who answered the phone was very short and a bit rude. When I told her I needed to make a new patient appointment she replied that they weren't taking new patients until April, but I said I'd go ahead and make an appointment anyways. Unprofessional Rude Phone Staff, no appointments – I have been going to Blue Ridge Dermatology for years. When I had a conflict with my son's school I needed to change my appointment to at least a 1/2 hour earlier. The appointment secretary sounded as if she were asleep or hung over. Can't even get an appointment! – Today it's Sept 14th, 2007. When I called to try to make an appointment, I was told the next available appointment for new patients wasn't until March or April of 2008! I find this ridiculous.
I Loved It!!!!! – I really enjoyed Blue ridge the doctor's and the nursing staff are so friendly. They were very helpful to me and answered any question or concern I had. The doctor did a follow up call the next day which I wasn't expecting. That really made me feel good about my decision to go there. I can't imagine someone having a bad experience there. I was really pleased!!!!!!!
No Help, Rude – Don't waist your time. The Dr.'s may be fantastic but why go through the experience of meeting the front office staff. No customer service or compassion for trying to make an appointment.
