Poor Follow-up - 2 many patients! – Great doctors but the office staff doesn't respond to inquires left on voice mail regarding biopsy results, prescription refills or asking a simple question until you have left numerous messages or sent several faxes. In the meantime, it appears that it is easier for the staff to ignore your request until you have hounded them to death in the course of a week or more! The bottom line is they have too many patients and therefore are unable to give good care.

Disappointed – I've been a patient of Dr. Aarons for several years & I just called to schedule my yearly body scan & was told that she is booking appointments for those in FEBRUARY 2010!!! You've got to be kidding me!! How in the world am I suppose to know what I'll be doing in February next year?! I'm bewildered as to why it should take 10 months to get in for a full body scan when I've had pre-cancerous moles removed before. I'll be looking for a new dermatologist - one that doesn't make patients wait almost a year before ... read more

I like this practice – I just read the previous reveiw and find this hard to believe. This practice from staff, to nurses to doctors have always been friendly and helpful evertime I've been there. When you arrive late why would you think you should bump people who come on time or that you should still be seen. People who are late and demanding create problems for the rest of us and expect the office to act like nothing happened, at the rest of the patient's expense. Grow up! You want to be treated like an adult then take own... read more

Disrespectful office staff – I arrived late for my appt. But had spoken with someone on the phone, who said I was fine. Their "missed appt." time is 15 min late. I literally spoke with some one at 8:57 and when I arrived at 9 the receptionist Loudly announced "audible to the entire waiting room" that my appt had been cancled. I explains that I had just spoken with one of them and they looked at me like I had two heads. Both chiper woman gave off an air of abnoxiousness. I was told that they could rework me in (even though I ... read more

Wonderful group, see for yourself – Blue Ridge Dermatology is hands-down the best dermie practice I've been to. A neighbor in the health care industry recommended them. I'm baffled by the negative comments in previous posts. I found the office staff to be friendly and professional. The nurses and doctor who treated me were great! They listened, answered my questions, and they did not make me feel rushed at all. As a new patient I had to wait for two months for my appointment, but I expected to wait since that seems to be the... read more

make your own decision-dont believe everything you read – I went to BlueRidge Dermatology yesterday as a new patient, even after reading the reviews. I almost canceled, but a friend of mine convinced me to make my own opinion,so I went. I went to the blueridge road location. I called a few times for directions and to let them know I was running a few minutes late, and was treated in a friendly and helpful manner. Their office was crowded and I thought I would have a long wait-but it only took 5-10 minutes before my name was cal... read more

Bad Experience - Doctor didn't seem to care or know what she was doing. – I went as a first time client for a skin check-up and some diagnostic tests. The front office staff were very nice and polite - the wait wasn't too long. The assistant, however, was very rude and impatient. I saw Dr. Nagaraj and she didn't seem very concerned with me or my questions - she seemed about as knowledgeable as a Clinique sales clerk at Belks and didn't really answer my questions. They rushed me out of there and sent me to the labcorp for the... read more

Can't get in – I've been a patient with Blue Ridge Dermatology for years. The receptionist at the Cary office left this spring. I don't know if that has helped matters or made things worse. They have a main switchboard that makes appointments for both locations. I called last week for an appointment and gave up after being on hold for 20 minutes. I hate their canned message too. Today I called again and after 10 minutes actually got a live person on the other end. I can't get in for another 2 months. I'm not waiting that lon... read more

Do not go here – I felt quite rushed during my appt and I was also given poor advice to get a skin biopsy as the doctor said "you might as well since insurance covers it". Well, the skin biopsy was much more intrusive than was explained to me, I didn't really need it, and then I got a very large bill for it. They said it was a case of "he said she said" and ignored me. I think it is highly unethical to give such poor advice and not stand behind one's word and I really question if this wasn't some scam to make more money.
