For almost two centuries the hotel has offered hospitality to locals and visitors alike. It began life in 1816 as a simple boarding house for summer visitors to one of America's earliest seaside resorts. Its owner, Thomas H. Hughes, called his new boarding house "The Big House". The service was awful but the food and atmosphere was good. I probably wouldn’t return or highly recommend the blue pig tavern to anyone.
Always a standard when we're staying at one of our favorite Cape Resort Hotels in Cape May. Two meals this time breakfast and dinner �one was a birthday celebration. �Thank you for a great experience! Thank you Josh your an excellent server super friendly and very accommodating.
Great place and love the menu. I had the veggie ratatouille and polenta, savory and yummy. My brother had the hearty meatloaf. Very attentive and informative wait staff. I have been here for lunch and dinner recently and both times were wonderful. Definitely have a cocktail at the The Brown Room first.
We got a burger and it was good but not phenomenal for $19.50. The turkey sandwich was really good and all the ingredients were fresh. The service was a little lacking. We were without beverages twice. But the atmosphere was really nice sitting outside on the patio.
