About this business
For almost two centuries the hotel has offered hospitality to locals and visitors alike. It began life in 1816 as a simple boarding house for summer visitors to one of America's earliest seaside resorts. Its owner, Thomas H. Hughes, called his new boarding house "The Big House". RecommendedI went specifically for the fish and chips because they use haddock (my favorite fish) instead of cod. it was wonderful. Haddock was flaky and delicious.

Loved my dinner tonight. I enjoyed the clam chowder and the Blue Pig Burger. I also ordered the triple chocolate pie and it was delightful.
