RecommendedI had a great visit. Food was fresh. salad of mixed greens with a light dressing was fantastic. I do wish they had more gluten free and vegan options. The pasta dish looked great but no gluten free pasta option. I went with the burrito special minus the burrito wrap and it was delicious
Delicious food and drinks!
Today was my first visit to the Blue Paddle for lunch. I was familiar with the crabcake ravioli dinner entree so tried the crabcakes for lunch. 2 delicious crabcakes (and I'm from Maryland, so I know!!), with a really yummy mango chutney to go with them. Nice size side salad too. Had the chocolate mousse type dessert - YUM! So smooth!
We have dined at Blue Paddle before, at least two or three times and always had excellent food and service. We did take-out tonight and the food was very good, but...... We ordered two entrees and one goat cheese/strawberry salad for pick-up. Upon arrival there was only ONE entree and a house salad instead of the goat cheese/strawberry salad we ordered. 10 years ago tonight we had our rehearsal dinner with the Blue Staff and 25 of or besties. We returned tonight 10 years later with masks and got to recall all the wonderful memories they helped make happen. Thanks to everyone then and now for a wonderful evening.
I’ve been going this restaurant every time I visit The Champlain Islands since February 2004, which was the time of my father’s funeral. The food and ambiance is wonderful and I am excited to get back there again this weekend! It’s been awhile!!!
