I really liked the food until I found out another trans woman was harassed by TERFy staff. Screw this place.
I thought this place was cool, before finding out it’s run by TERFs (trans-exclusionary radical feminists). I won’t ever dine here again, and suggest you do the same if you support transgender women.
We just had the best brunch we’ve ever had. Vegan quiche with mushrooms is so delicious I did not want the plate to ever be empty. The best food almost anywhere for everyone who values food made by real cooks who understand the art of food.
My partner and I visit often. We love the home made food, and comfortable homey atmosphere. Worth every penny!

I always try to get to Bloodroot when I am on the East coast. It's a little gem of a place in CT ! Great food, and a relaxing atmosphere. Love the kitties that hang out too!
Fabulous meal, the bloodroot burger was delicious as was the red lentil soup. Peaceful and picturesque setting. I just wish it was nearer.
