I've always been able to count on Blackhawk Vet, even before I took my pets there. I called them out of the blue on Christmas Eve some years back and the vet met me there right away to see my dog. The vet I was using at the time told me to call the emergency vet services. Ever since then, I use Blackhawk clinic exclusively, and I highly recommend them to friends and family.
Great people and wonderful vets!!! They truely care about animals and their well being.
I have been taking my pets to Blackhawk for almost 14 years. I've never had one bad experience. I have two senior cats and the doctors have both done an amazing job with them. They call right away as soon as blood work comes in and explain things in a way that I can understand. Thank you so much for taking such great care of my boys!
I love this place, everyone is so genuine and you can see how much they care. I have been with Blackhawk veterinary hospital since 1981 when the clinic was on Jackson st. across from JATCO and the experience has as always been wonderful.
We thank goodness we found this group every day! Docs, techs and staff that honestly care about your pets and understand you (a person without unlimited $$ resources AND a pet mom or dad)---what more do you need? This past year, I needed to send 2 dogs to Rainbow Bridge. They walked me through it, every step. (and even hugged me while I cried) I consider my family "needy", as far as vet service goes.....Blackhawk MORE than fits that bill!
Kind and compassionate. The staff really seems to care about their animal patients as well as the people who love them. I recommend them to anybody looking for a great vet clinic.

We just switched from another local clinic and I could NOT be happier with our decision. Their pricing is comparable to the area but the customer service is above and beyond. The staff is so nice, pleasant and accommodating. I'm so happy we found a place that we all feel comfortable going to.
