Open year-round! [Reservations required] Interactive, educational and super fun dog sledding tours with professional dog mushers. Meet our high-energy, friendly, genuine racing sled dogs in a beautiful setting. Winter tours are private and allow you to try driving a dog sled! Summer and fall tours are private or very small groups. Summer/fall tours use a buggy for mushing; hiking with the dogs is also an option. Please visit our website for more information.

We had an amazing sled ride yesterday with Riley. We got to meet his dogs, help harness them and take a fun sled ride. Afterwards we helped unharness the dogs and play with them. I can’t praise Riley enough, he was happy to answer all of our questions. Good luck with your next race Riley!
Black Spruce Dog Sledding = BEST adventure of our holiday!!! Jeff, Katti-Jo and the dogs were awesome! 10/10! If you are in Fairbanks in the summer or winter you really need to pay them a visit. Thank you for the fantastic memories. This was my second time to use Black Spruce. First was with a coworker in Dec of '16. This time (Nov '17), I brought my wife. The first time was a night trip in 2016. The northern lights were cool to see but the sled trip was in the dark so not much to see. My wife and I chose a day trip and it far exceeded our expectations. Jeff was our musher and shared a ton of information about mushing, the dogs, and racing. Black Spruce Dog Sledding was one of our favorite things we did in Fairbanks. Jeff was wonderful with explaining to us all about dog sledding and the dogs different personalities, etc. It was a great experience - we never felt rushed and Jeff made us feel very welcome. The Dog sledding was tons of fun and we loved being able to not just sit in the sled but also stand behind it. We loved the whole experience and would highly recommend it!
This was on our bucket list of things to do while in Fairbanks. One of the most amazing venturous we have ever experienced! Top notch operation! You can most certainly tell how loved these dogs are. Completely recommend if you're looking for a hands on experience. We will be back!
They were a wonderful couple. Very patient and warm hearted. They obviously love their dogs and love the state of Alaska. The dogs are lovely, beautiful and eager to meet people! If you get the chance, you should definitely take a tour with them, it's an awesome experience that I will never forget :)
