Open year-round! [Reservations required] Interactive, educational and super fun dog sledding tours with professional dog mushers. Meet our high-energy, friendly, genuine racing sled dogs in a beautiful setting. Winter tours are private and allow you to try driving a dog sled! Summer and fall tours are private or very small groups. Summer/fall tours use a buggy for mushing; hiking with the dogs is also an option. Please visit our website for more information.

The second of two sled dog trips I took in Alaska, the ride wasn't as long but it was much more intense. Much more of a down to earth friendly feel and meet & greet with the dogs. Also, the only tour to let you harness and hookup the dogs which was amazing! Kudos to the two dogs Kenzie & Stoic for being more than cooperative. I'd recommend this tour to anyone looking for a bit of a rewarding ride and dog lovers alike
Dog sledding with Black Spruce Dog Sledding is a highlight of our trip to Fairbanks. The couple who run the business were so incredibly friendly and welcoming. You're not just hopping on a sled for a ride. You get to interact with the dogs and learn about dog sledding. I would definitely do this again.
The owners are very nice people and those husky dogs are very affable!
AMAZING! My husband and i loved ever second! Jeff and Kattijo love what they do, love their dogs and love sharing it with others and it shows! We will never forget this experience! It made our trip! The dogs were precious and we got lots of hugs and kisses from them. I have five things on my bucket list... dog mushing was one of them... move this to the top of my list! The most amazing experience! Even the minus 20 degree weather! Katie, our guide, was professional, sweet, and truly loves her dogs. She taught us how to harness them, guide them... and love them! The ride was simply breathtaking... I cannot say enough about Black Spruce Dog Sledding... A-One!!! Check this off my bucket list... second on my list? Dog Mushing again with them!!!!🐶🐶🐶🐶

Just a wonderful experience. Our family of four (incl. boys age 16 and 19) had a really fun, educational and interesting time helping set up the dogs and sleds before heading out on the ride. The proprietors are friendly, engaged, and intelligent. Really can't say enough good things about this.
