Meet our high-energy, friendly, genuine racing sled dogs in a beautiful setting. Winter tours are private and allow you to try driving a dog sled! This was an amazing experience. I would go over and over if I lived here.
Highly recommend!! The dogs were so friendly, well trained and cute! The owners were very personable and we learned a lot! Worth the price and more :)
What a fun afternoon! Jeff and Katie are so lovely and kind to share their lives and dogs with us. We loved their casual vibe and hospitality. They answered our endless questions and made our visit so much fun. Thanks Jeff and Katie. We will be back for that winter visit.
Our visit to Black Spruce Dog Sledding was a highlight of our first trip to Alaska! Jeff & Katie were incredibly welcoming and relaxed about having our kids play with their dogs and even letting them help with the harnessing. It was inspiring to hear them talk about the individual personalities of the dogs and to see their obvious love and care for them. The kids loved the chance to play with the puppies, too!
My wife and I spent a little over a week touring Alaska this summer. The two high points of our trip were 1) taking the train/glacier cruise from Anchorage to Seward and Kanai Fjords, 2) our time with Black Spruce Dog Sledding. Jeff and Katie were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They clearly have a passion for their life, and their life is what they are sharing with you when you visit. We had a wonderful time hiking with the puppies and learning from the owners. They are very friendly and informative. I think this was the highlight of the trip for our daughter.
We had a great time with all the dogs and KattiJo! It was just our group so the whole experience was very personal and we were able to interact with the dogs before they took us out for a ride. We felt very comfortable and safe and we loved the experience! Thanks guys! - Giselle and John
