My husband and I got a night away from the kids and wanted to come check out Black Sheep. We did not have reservations. We arrived at 5:15 and were told that the restaurant was full until 9:30pm (but there really was nobody in the place). We were told we could sit in the lounge area where they serve bar food or at the bar where we were told you can order dinner. We're sorry we were unable to accommodate you and your husband! Due to an immense amount of support and interest, we have been booked solid just about every day since we opened the doors. Our first reservations of the night are made around 5:30/ 6:00 so those empty tables you saw were being held for reservations. I'm sorry for the confusion about the bar- we serve a bar menu that includes appetizers, sandwiches and salads. The lamb was perfectly med rare, the pork belly and scallops were succulent, and the drinks were inexpensive for their quality. Do yourself a favor and eat here. Now.
