I have been coming here every year for 30 years and have never been disappointed. My yearly sandwich is the Blackened tuna and it is outstanding.
Party of 6 arrived at 550 and had a 30 minute wait, which we didn't think was bad at all. The Calamari app tasted as if it came from the freezer section from any local grocery store. It was not fresh by any stretch of the imagination. The crab Rangoon tasted very good. Both filet mignon orders were cooked as ordered, but were very tough. Ordered the OBX chicken and ribs. The chicken was so delicious and the ribs fell right off the bone. I would suggest Black Pelican to anyone visiting the Outer Banks.
Stopped there for lunch. They accommodated all 13 of us. Manger and staff were awesome and the meals were awesome. I had the Baja Mahi which was out of this world. Will be back again.
Love this place. We go every time we come to obx.
Prime rib was delicious as was the Sherry Lobster Bisque!
The Black Pelican is generally our first stop when visiting the Outer Banks. You can't go wrong with a special of the day, and we personally love their pizzas! Our server today was wonderful, thanks Jamaal!
Great service, drinks, and food out on the deck! The wait staff was fantastic.
Food was good, it was a Monday and reviews says it's all that and then some. Okay, so we tried it. Depending on noise level you like I am sure it is. Personally don't enjoy being around a room of screaming no not just kiddies but grown ups too. So I sucked that up since we were on travel and vacation.
