Shrimp crab dip was AMAZING. Can't wait to go back next year and have it again �
Simply some of the best food on the island...the service was spectacular. The food just melted in our mouth. Seafood risotto was awesome and the down south down under was terrific. Try to get there early ...4ish or the line will be put the door. This is a can't miss restaurant.
Great food with a beautiful in a historic Outer Banks building!
Went at 5pm was seated 20 minutes later. The food was outstanding and service great! Got the blackened swordfish with sweet potatoes. Loved it!
The pecan crusted mahi was the best fish i have ever had in my life.

This plave was so amazi g that we ended up going after my sisters wedding. My fiancee (who wqs my gf that day) went the next day for our 1 year anniversary bc we enjoyed it so much. I eneded up proposing to her afterwards! The Black Pelican is the best!
I never come to the OBX without stopping at the Black Pelican. Great food, great service and great prices.
Service was great but ordered the seafood risotto and was thoroughly disappointed. It was terrible. I've had it MANY times at the Chesapeake location and loved it. There was no bacon, tomatoes or corn in it. It wasn't even cheesy. That said the rest of our group was happy with their meals. Its still one of my favorite restaurants on the obx and I'll continue going back. The chef must have had an off day.
