Valentines Day is a bad time to be out of town on business and needing take out. The place was running like a well oiled machine just busy as would be expected, and the level of customer service I received from John Degood was above and beyond most appreciated.���
First visit and it will not be my last great food!
This was my second time eating here, and I am not impressed. My boyfriends mother ordered a grilled steak salad and received an undercooked (practically raw) steak in her salad. The steak was also cold. I ordered a 12oz New York steak. The meat was extremely fatty and a poor cut. I am able to look past these faults of the cook, but what pushed me over the edge was my servers attitude. I am a waiter myself, and I know that the job can be stressful. My husband, his brother and wife and I visited last Saturday night as a sort of final date night before our babies arrive (We are both pregnant and due very soon!). We had a reservation for 6:30 but showed up a little early and were perfectly okay with waiting until our reservation time as it was understandably busy. However, the hostesses were incredibly gracious and were kind enough to seat us almost immediately. We were super lucky and ended up in Cornelius' section. This is our family friendly steakhouse to eat at whether it's lunch or dinner. The food is always great here plus great service as well.
