Being a smoker of over 35 years and have tried almost everything possible to quit. Had overheard people talking of an accupuncturist in Perrysburg - so I did some searching. And wow - am I glad that I did! I have not smoked a cigarette since I had my treatment. It is amazing - and even being around others who smoke - does not bother you in the least! I am totally amazed and so thankful!!!!
Going to see Dr. Birch was a lifesaver for me! My daughter Cathie and I decided to go see if this would work, since nothing else has. And we figured if it didnt then we had a nice outing just the two of us. That was August 8th 2006, and it is April 4th, 2010 now and we have been smoke free! I had no withdraw, no cravings. I couldnt believe it and I still cant. LOL! I smoked for 32 years at least 2 packs per day. Dr. Birch is awesome. I know of several people who have had the accupuncture done and are still not smoking. I had it done five years ago this coming January and have been around smokers since the day after the procedure. Would refer this process to anyone who is serious about quitting.
My husband did not want to quit smoking. He only went because his boss and I wanted him to stop. He agreed to go on the condition that he could smoke peacefully afterwards because he was not going to stop for anyone. So my disbelieving husband smoked the entire three and a half hour trip to the Doctors office. He was annoyed to be spending his day off doing this. I waited in the car for him. After fifteen minutes he came out and said he was going to sleep on the way home. I didnt ask anything. I observed him tho, and he smok... read more

I had smoked for fifteen years and had tried patches, gums, wellbutrin, hypnotism etc. I REALLY did want to quit every time I attempted but I failed. But on February 21, 2006 my girlfriends mom (smoked 30+ years) and I both quit and have remained nicotine free for almost a year now!!! I invested my \$150 a month that I smoked and have invested it in the stock market instead - - that account has over \$2500 in less than a year.
