Went in to the parts department for a part for a 1975 F250. The employee looked at me and said their computer systems do not go that far back and he could not help. Really. Will not go back when it is time to buy a new vehicle.

DA, we're sorry that we were unable to locate the part for you in our computer system. As our parts manager mentioned, our system only has parts for 1980 and newer. He did give you a LMC magazine for the specific model year of your vehicle with a phone number to another company that would have been able to help you locate it (phone number is on the magazine), let us know if you need the number again.

My daughter needed a key made bc she lost hers. She talked to Steve and explained the situation including year and make of car. Steve told her they could help but she’d have to tow car there. So she did. Then she was told the car was too old and they’d made a mistake..couldn’t make a key. They were sorry but couldnt/wouldnt reimburse for tow expense. Nor did they offer any compensation. Had to go in for a recall on my 2016 F150. Was told it would be 3 hours when I made the appointment. It only took 90 minutes. Their service department is the best around!
