First to “set the stage”. It was a Saturday evening June 15 near 6, although it is unseasonably cold this year. There seemed to be a wedding going on on the beach. Due to the cold temps a thick fog was hugging the lakeshore which is why we believed the restaurant had available tables for dinner. RecommendedThe entire experience was great. We stopped in for a late lunch. We started with the calamari and a couple of cocktails. Everything came out in a very timely manner and was delicious (the calamari melted in your mouth). For lunch I picked one of the “small plates” which was plenty of food. The perch was lightly breaded and cooked perfectly. The server was very friendly and took great care of us. Overall we really enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back, especially once the patio is open!
Great place on Lake Michigan to celebrate our anniversary.
My husband and I got married on the beach here almost 3 years ago. We hadn't been back since the new owners remodeled and changed the menu. We love ❤️ the new building and view. The food was Off The Hock! We can't wait to go back and try new items off the menu. We will recommend it to everyone!
Had a painful experience, literally and figuratively. Our group had a 6pm reservation and arrived 10 minutes early. We had to wait until almost 6:30 to be seated, even though we were staring at two open tables the entire time, one of which eventually became our table. Many smaller and larger groups arrived after us yet were seated first. Waiting with two kids for more than 20 minutes did not get dinner off to a good start. The food is great.Beautiful view.Excellent staff.I had the shrimp and scallop pasta very good.small plate scallops was excellent.The kale caesar salad was a surprise and I would highly recommend it.The pizza needs work but the chicken francesca is out of this world.The creme brulee was a hit at out table The service is excellent.I like the bar upstairs it was nice to sit up there while waiting for a table.It is a little noisy because of the hard surfaces but could be an easy cure with some sound deadening panels.
The new building is great, all windows overlooking the beach and lake Michigan. The food was Great.
Super atmosphere with a great view of the lake.. Great service with a friendly staff! Will be back!
