We had a great time. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and beautiful. If you want a more upscale experience then visit the Big Tree Inn. On the downside, the noise from the tavern impeded our dinner.
Their staff is among some of the best I've ever seen and their food is absolutely fantastic. The waitress we usually get always remembers us and is both professional as well as friendly. The atmosphere is very amazing and perfect for a romantic dinner date or a night brunch with your Grandma. I highly highly recommend them!
THE SMALL TOWN, FAMILY ATMOSPHERE AT THE BIG TREE WAS EVIDENT FROM THE MOMENT WE ARRIVED AS ALL THE STAFF OFFERED THEIR BIRTHDAY GREETINGS TO ME. THE SPECIAL CHICKEN MARSALA DISH CHEF MARISSA UNDERWOOD PREPARED JUST FOR ME WAS FABULOUS AND SHOULD BE ADDED TO YOUR MENU. THE HOSTESS, WAITER AND CHEF ARE TO BE COMMENDED FOR A JOB WELL DONE. THANKS AGAIN!!
Stayed last night before visiting SUNY Geneseo campus, and the room was comfortable and clean, the staff friendly and helpful, and the decor had a decidedly historic and classy feel. Love this place! Would definitely stay there again!
My fiancé and I went there for a tour as a possible wedding venue and to try the food. We both really enjoyed the food and the ambiance as a wedding venue. They even comped our meal because we toured and that was very nice of them. The only critique was maybe the carpets and some fixtures could have been cleaned/updated.
