Recommendedvery comfortable and quaint
Good food and good size portions. Enjoyed the Christmas trees and decorations. Friendly waitress and Hostess. Good wine.
It’s a beautiful, historic venue. Atmosphere is very cozy and welcoming. Loved just walking around the restaurant and enjoying the venue. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. Our waiter was attentive, and made wonderful recommendations. All together it was an exceptional experience and we will be going back in the future.
I sent this message privately THREE weeks ago. No one at the Big Tree Inn was even decent enough to respond. Now, I am warning anyone considering dining here. We spent our first Thanksgiving in the area at this restaurant. We brought our family to this restaurant in hopes of a delicious holiday meal. For the most part staying at The Big Tree Inn was a wonderful experience. We stayed two days for our wedding. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfy. There was lotion and conditioning shampoo provided but no other commonly found hotel amenities. I did have to speak with different staff members more than I would have wanted. Usually regarding who could book the rooms I had blocked. Also one of my bridesmaids called to book a room and was told to “call back Monday, were to busy right now”. Ate here Saturday night for a wedding and ended up with Salmonella Poisoning from the chicken French.

Great meal, the wigs were delicious and they were brand new to the menu. Also had a great seratca Bloody Mary.
Classic old school wining and dining . Summer on the porch is a favorite.
Lovely Inn with the kIndest people running the place. We had a wedding rehearsal dinner and a lot of us stayed there. Would highly recommend.
