The entire bar and restaurant is designed in dark, elegant wood with very stylish and comfortable furniture, chairs and booths--even the requisite fireplace--giving it a private club-like feeling. Beautiful multi-hued granite is used for the table tops and the bar, highlighting the overall design. RecommendedThis place never disappoints. went there last night for their Friday night special, filet mignon and lobster tail. The filet was so very tender and chock full of flavor! Never had a bad meal - so delicious! Staff is well-trained and the kitchen is on-point. Went for New Year's eve supper, had a short 40 minute wait for table. From ordering to paying, it only took 45 minutes. Awesome for as busy they were!!
I want to start by saying the service was excellent. This place was recommended by quite a few of our friends as some of the best steak in the Des Moines area. The food is sub par at best. I had the thinnest slice of prime rib I’ve ever had at any restaurant and none of the food had a wow factor.

This was our 1st visit and we were not disappointed. Ted was our waiter offering superb service. We both enjoyed steaks cooked to perfection. The house dressing was excellent. We will be back!
My husband and I just ate the best Ribeyes that we've had in a very long time. Flavor was amazing. Could almost cut it with a fork. YUM!!!!!
Walked in, was told there was under a 40 minute wait for 3 ppl, a hour later and multiple people getting put ahead of us later, asked how much long it was going to be was told there was still 5 tables ahead of us so it was going to be another 40 minutes, I suggest you know one of the ladies who set you or you will never get in ! Will never go back
