About this business
The entire bar and restaurant is designed in dark, elegant wood with very stylish and comfortable furniture, chairs and booths--even the requisite fireplace--giving it a private club-like feeling. Beautiful multi-hued granite is used for the table tops and the bar, highlighting the overall design. The owner, Brett Anderson, (a lawyer, but we won't hold that against him) has done an excellent job of designing and furnishing the restaurant and has obviously spared no expense. Best service & food anywhere in Des Moines area!! I seem to always gravitate towards the Prime Rib, but I LOVE it when they have crab legs on special (to die for!), and my daughters have introduced me to the seafood pasta which is sinfully amazing!! The bread is way too good, and the house dressing is a MUST. Seriously, you cannot go wrong ordering ANYTHING on the menu!!

From the moment we walked in til the moment we walked out had a very pleasant experience. Have gone here many times, always busy, but treated with the top-most prefessionalism. Yes please! A steak where you could taste the beef. Side dishes to die for and an atmosphere that’s nostalgic of family restaurants and super clubs of the 80’s. This was a treat.
