If Big Herm is an actual person I'd give him a hug. They seem to be a secret that has been discovered, so you may have to call a few times and wait on hold to place your order, but once you get the food it is well worth it! Buffalo chicken sandwich was as big as a platter with tons of bleu cheese. The mac and cheese is classic. I don't think you could go wrong.

Ordered my lunch for the first time on yesterday. The chicken Quesadilla was so tasty and large. I just placed another order to make sure that it was not just a fluke.lol If it is as good as yesterday I will have to increase this review to 5 stars and will be using them as caterer for my departments next events.
Everything I ordered was really good! Will definitely come back and recommend.
I absolutely love the food here at BHK! Personal favorite would be the catfish bites and Mac &cheese. If you ever need catering he’s also your man!
BLACK RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE WEEK Big Herm's Kitchen. OFF THE METER! I had the signature Shrimp salad. I don't speak in superlatives but I'm going to tell you this. Big Herm catered our holiday party dinner and it was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! We asked for southern style home cooking and we surely got it! They delivered to our venue and he even brought me a “cup” of wine with my name on it as a thank you! Herman is the BEST!!! We highly recommend them for your catered event!
