The Big Dipper Creamery family has been in the ice cream industry for three generations, opening our first ice cream shop in Sarasota, Florida in 1990. In 2003, we built Big Dipper Creamery in Blaine, Minnesota emphasizing our commitment to handcrafted, quality ice cream by using fresh, local farmer's natural cream. RecommendedBig Dipper has the best Ice cream and the most friendly service.
Still my favorite homemade ice cream! Better than Izzy’s, Sebastian Joe’s and Milkjam. Each have tasty unique and traditional flavors. I have a few more places to try in the Twin Cities. Cream must be from really happy cows! Customer service has been very polite, pleasant and helpful. They and the owners take time to talk to regular customers and have enjoyed my nieces and nephews grow up over the past 3 years.

We love the Big Dipper! We started going there every Tuesday night after my daughter's piano lessons. Everything is good! They are even patient with my kids who take FOREVER to pick out their ice cream - too many flavors to choose from 😍. Great ice cream. Great staff.
