Went to the big boy on Haggerty and 8 mile on Saturday, 2/2/18 at 4:30. We got seated and the waitress came around once to deliver drinks and take our order. She finally came back 1/2 hour later to let us know that they were waiting on a cook to arrive. Apparently there was only one waitress and an assistant cook. Waitress finally told us that we could wait or leave. We left. Went to the one on Newburgh and Six mile in Livonia and had a great waitress and good food instantly. I visited the Meriman rd location. They advertise a breakfast buffet for $5 including drink. When I received my bill it was over $31 for 2 people. They did not offer the soup or salad that's is supposed to accompany their buffet. Deceitful!

RecommendedI love Big Boy. I grew up on it in southern California. I was ecstatic when it came to Hawaii in 1975, which is where I now live. and was heartbroken when a kitchen fire caused it to shut down a few years ago. what I recommend is that you return to Hawaii. We miss you. Bob's Big Bear is an extremely poor facsimile.
Awful service and food. Said something and I still got to pay for it. I was blown off by my server and manager. I will never be back

Visited 12-21-18 at the Hamilton Rd location in Groveport, Ohio. Service & food was horrible. I was very disappointed in yesterday's visit. It took forever to place a drink order. And over 30 minutes to receive our food. And the place was nearly empty. When the food arrive it was barely warm and nasty. Burger was overcooked with no flavor and paper thin. Ordered a burger with onions rings, paid $1.30 extra and only get 8 rings. Fries are included but for more money you only get 8 onion rings! Then we had our 1.5 year old eat off the salad bar, which was fine with our waitress and then wanted to charge us $2.99 for it. A small bowl of soup, 5 cherry tomatoes and 2 slices of melon.
