So far no crazy lady I love Big Al's their staff is so nice and helpful. they have great grooners to. I have not seen the crazy old lady .... yet. Big Al's staff have helped me so much.

Pushy service I thought that we had just found a new store close to home where we could buy our dog supplies. That was true until we were hounded by a woman who works there that wouldn't leave us alone. She followed us through the store making negative comments on everything we picked out, claiming that it wasn't good for dogs and that we needed to buy whatever other thing SHE picked out. Big Al's Pet Food Warehouse is a lot better now! I went in and heard the annoying lady isn't there anymore. They have a brand new owner and they're getting new management. It was relief to know the issue with that lady has been addressed. I will definitely go to Big Al's more often know.

Theresas is better I stopped going here years ago for two reasons, one Theresas pet food here in Simi has way better prices. Two the owner of the store doesn't care at all about animals, only money. I told him about Iams, and how they do CRUEL animal testing. He said he didn't care, as long as people spend money on the food that was all he cared about. Shame on him, plus the store is to expensive anyway.

I like Big Al's for the advice, Vet services and product selection. I shop at Big Al's on a bi weekly basis. I know of the "annoying" woman you are referring to not by name but by sight. I have found her advice to be quite good and helpful. She saved me from purchasing dog treats made in China that I thought were made in the US. She is also very knowledgeable about the products available in the store. Her demeaner may not always be that of a cheery teenager, but she is valuable. Those Two make the whole store look bad This is a great store but there defiantly have some character flaws. There are two older women in particular that drive me up the wall every time i enter this store. the older lady with he thick glasses always follows me around and puts stuff in my cart and then watches me when i check out to make sure i buy it.Then there is the loud outspoken manager who i personally cant stand listening to she is more interested in bragging about her dog and how much weight she has lost then in my qu... read more

Used to be better I used to shop at Big Al's. Not any more!! What is with the new owner? Is she crazy?. She got rid of all the employees that had any knowledge at all, and hired a bunch of kids. I miss Judy and Sue. The selection is not what it used to be, and the prices are sky high. I will be shopping at Theresa's, at least their staff is friendly and caring.

Re: hahaahaa. sounds like u got the refund. I buy my mice from Olivia and she is always so happy. They have a cat in the store. not so friendly.
