Awesome place to go for a Hamms
Great food, excellent service. First Saturday of month - German meatballs-awesome!
RecommendedMy Son took me there yesterday for a belated birthday dinner. The food portions were large but did not taste like german food. The red cabbage had too much venigar taste The wienerschnitzel was too thick not thin as a schnitzel should be and had no lemon slices on the side. My son had sauerbraten and the braten was too blend and the spaetzle did not have any gravy what it should have. We will try again and order something else. The food was good. I thought the waitress at first was a little rude. After getting a drink it took her a good 25 min before she came back to see if we wanted food but she was pretty busy. The rest of the service was good.
Attentive staff and great food!! Would recommend anyone who is anyone to go and try them out.
We went to Sunday brunch and the service was terrible, when I was finally able to order French toast our server forget to put my order in and didn’t even know she forgot! They need more than one server and one bartender during such a busy time.
I hadn’t been here in quit awhile. So we stopped today and had my usual, Taste of Duetchland. Completely disappointed, Saurbraten was tasteless, Sweinhaxen was more like chopped up store bought ham, red cabbage had no flavor. Alll in all was not good

We love Hastings Beirstube! We love Mary, she is our favorite waitress, and we love the food! We drive from Blaine to Hastings every other Sunday because we love it!
