We have visited the Beyu several times to listen to live music, authors, and special shows. My husband reserved a table to hear Daniel D. They night was perfect with great music and the crowd was lively!
It was a very nice place with great entertainment! This was my first time going since they move, and the space is so much better. We're definitely coming back more often.

I like the new digs and it was great to see Beyu partner with Duke Performance for the Piedmont Blues. The food is great as always. One thought, I think it would bring the focus of the audience to the stage more if the restaurant lights were dimmed during a show/performance, the way they do at the jazz clubs in NYC, like Blue Note. When the lights,are lowered, the audience tends to get quiet same as when they lower lights in a movie theater. Should be just enough lights so servers can serve. Candles on the table can help.
