First time here today and we dropped in for brunch.. Although the pianist hadn't arrived while we were there, we absolutely enjoyed our brunch items, the ambiance and the friendliness of everyone we met. Durham's hidden gem for sure!
I enjoy the atmosphere of Beyu Cafe and never leave without meeting someone new and interesting. Great place to chill and listen to good music.
We really enjoy Beyu Caffe... we will drive 4 hours to attend a concert there! Last night Norman Conners band was outstanding!!
We attended the early New Year's event and the meal was great, just a little two much seasoning on my sea bass. Music was great, we look forward to our next visit!

New Year's Day morning walked in and got seated without reservations.. so far so good. Table was just big enough for my coffee cup and positioned next to the stage. Wait staff had to actually move the table to enable passage around us which seemed constant. Strike one! Beignets were barely warm just like my red eye. Finished my red eye and asked for coffee. I was told "sorry" no refills. Strike 2! Breakfast and subsequent service was mediocre at best! Strike 3!
