Dreaming from afar (L.A.)of all of the delicious dishes at Bette's! I miss this breakfast/brunch anytime I want, having spent 33 years in the Bay.
The banana chocolate souffle was amazing; the lox scramble, delish; the SCRAPPLE, super yummy; service was great, tunes blaring from the jukebox...a great way to start our Saturday!!!
The very best pancakes on the planet - so good, we brought the cookbook back to where we were visiting from (out of state), and treasure the recipes inside as our own family weekend go-to's. Now that we live in the area, we come here often and remember how worth the wait those incredible pancakes were on that cold November day all those years ago - they're still just as divine as ever.
