It took me a little while to relax into the situation. I thought...okay this is nice, but am I really going to just lay here and float for 90 minutes? Is there a float tanning tank? That would be amazing! Float, relax, and get a tan at the same time! It would be the perfect combo.
I'm a filmmaker in Indianapolis, and this morning I had the pleasure of filming a promotional video for Better Being Float Center. The staff was easily the nicest people I've ever met. Their hospitality was outstanding, and they constantly went out of their way to see if me or my crew needed anything. Also, the two people that I asked to float in the float tanks had never done it before, but they loved how calm and relaxing it was. I would recommend Better Being Float Center to everyone. I have fibromyalgia and had cancer. Every medication under the sun has been tried, and nothing helps much. Pain is just a part of my life that I have learned to live with. I floated, and, for the first time in over 10 years, I actually felt relief!! It was a strange, strange feeling, as I had forgotten what it felt like to not hurt. It was amazing! Better Being ROCKS, and Kenny is a sweetheart! <3

I worked myself up with excitement about my appointment today and I must say I was in no way disappointed! The guys were very sweet and explained everything. This is an experience that is hard to explain...it is relaxing, calming, clearing and different. I found myself trying to figure out where the water began...and I couldn't without looking. I was warm and comfortable floating within the water. It was so relaxing. I felt like I was wrapped in a warm cocoon. The shower after was great, too. I feel rejuvenated from within. ... read more
