I called this morning for my brother who has Downs Syndrome & has been a patient here most of his life. His only income is Social Security & is on Govt. health insurance. Someone took his glasses (I don't want to believe intentionally) this weekend at a public place and he is blind as a bat without them. I was told they have an opening at 2:15 or 2:30 today ... until I told her his insurance ... at which time I was told they csn't see him!! They charge my mom $20 every time she comes in, which is several times a year. She was on a three week recheck at one point, that went on for several months. I asked Dr. Seravitz if she HAD to pay the copay EVERY visit. He told me he had nothing to do with that and that it was “up to the billing department “. She is elderly and on a fixed income, no mercy.

Dr. Robert Kitei has been caring for me, my husband and our 2 children since they were infants and he is great! We are a family of glasses wearers and he and the entire staff have always been pleasant, thorough and helpful.
