RecommendedMy daughter came to BIDMC ER, sick and scared. She received excellent and compassionate care , and was admitted to have Surgery. Her surgeon, Dr. Odom, was kind, caring, and professional. The nurses that took care of her after surgery were great, and very kind to her. I’m very thankful to BIDMC for the excellent care they provided her.
Don't go to the ED, they suck. I've sat for 3 hours and seen NO doctor. it's sad when you go to the emergency room and they let you sit for hours. I never get to been seen cause after sitting for 3-5 hours and HAVE NOT SEEN A DOCTOR, they're telling me I AM NOT IMPORTANT.
so I decided to stay here at thw beth isreal because they say im at risk for a stroke but I have a brain bleed and i am in pain and instead of keeping me on a pain medicine that has litllento no side effects they want to give me Depokote which has a million side effects including sucidal thoughts liver damage and the main reason to take it is bipolar disorder and seizures but they want me to take ot for pain it doesnt make sinced I feel like their trying Guinea pig me for research and Im afraid to leave nut Im about to go to... read more
If you’re looking for caring, well educated doctors who don’t make careless mistakes... do not come here. This is by far the WORST hospital in Boston.

BID has a large number of top doctors in their specialties...and I am very happy with the care I am getting from them.
