I created a claim over two months ago to get a top warrantied, which is ripping on its own at the front corners. I barely drove the vehicle since i had the top ( less than 10k miles, only in perfect weather) and it sits in garage storage. Bestop CASE189540 - "BST52454-17". Like I said, I have been waiting and waiting, only to have to call in an get denied coverage. Even though this top has a 5 year warranty on defects, they said on the phone they really only cover defects that occur within the first 30 days! I will never buy... read more

0 Stars. After I placed an order for the TrekStep Rear Mount Step a week passed, no update on my order. I followed up with 2 emails and another week passed with no response. I called customer service, after about 2 hours on hold got someone to cancel my order and requested an email confirmation. I was assured my order was canceled and being refunded and the email confirmation was on it's way. I got no email confirmation and the order was never canceled and shipped the following week. The profile that was created at that time and date has not placed any orders with ************************** or over the phone with a CSR. First, waited an extended amount of time to get the top. Not a huge deal, ordered on 5/26 and received on 6/9.The problem came when I unpackaged it to install and found out I received the incorrect top on a Saturday and could not contact anyone with Bestop. I ordered a Replace-A-Top For OEM - Jeep '***** Wrangler JK 2-Door (Black Diamond Sailcloth; Tinted Windows; No Door Skins Included), and received a top for a ********* unlimited TJ. Absolutely unacceptable, and ridiculous.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. The customer received the wrong product due to an error made by our warehouse. He contacted our customer service team, and we have processed a return for the incorrect item. Additionally, we have placed a warranty order, so he will receive the product he originally ordered.

The ***** sure doesn't fall far from the tree with Bestop as it relates to the quality of their products and customer service. Upon receiving the soft top I purchased for my **** Bronco, I had it professionally installed and the first time it rained, I noticed water was infiltrating my interior on the front seats and doors of both the driver and passenger side. WHAT A ***************. PARTS TO SOFT TOP WERE NOT INCLUDED AND SOME PARTS/COMPONENTS WERE DEFECTIVE.

No one with that name or email address has purchased any products directly from Bestop, so we do not have a way to contact this individual. I bought a new top for my JL and paid additional have it installed by one of their reps. ** has never been right, it rattles awfully and one if the struts was bent and keeps popping off. I tried their support team just for them to tell me it would be over $600 to fix, when I pushed for warranty they stopped responding. The product is not great and the support is awful, I wish there were an alternative for Jeep tops.
