Saved my dog's life! My dog slipped his leash and was hit by a car! I rushed him to Best Friends and the doctor treated him immediately - on a Sunday. He had to stay in the hospital for a few days but is all better now! My old vet would have just put him down. I am so greatful for the care my dog received! DOESN'T CARE ABOUT ANIMALS MEAN TO STAFF Dr. Habib doesn't care about the animals she fired my friend who was the head nurse there because she asked her daughter to play with the healthy animals instead like the boarding ones instead of the animals scheduled for surgery or the sick animals that are hospitalized. Her daughter didn't like that and told her mother because she was upset. Dr. Habib needs to get into a new line of business... Dr. Habib is the worst vet ever! As stated in other reviews, Dr. Habib was consistently late for all our appointments. We heard her on several occasions yelling at her staff. I had heard from a previous receptionist that they were not getting paid and that the Dr. has a lawsuit against her from a previous employee for pain and suffering!!! top notch medical care I am so pleased with the care my dog has received since Dr. Sindy took over! The new waiting room is beautiful - now that construction is finished. The staff are always helpful. My pet loves to go there ! After his neuter, we couldn't even see a scar!
My dog DIDN'T die at Best Friends Animal Hospital! As a matter of fact they saved his life! I would be lost without Dr. Habib and her caring team. They seem so insync with each other that it feels like home to my dog. My dog has had many complications through out the yrs and Best Friends has always been on top of his issues. I would hope that people reading these reviews take all of them into account before making any decisions on their pet care.
Best Friends Animal Hospital is under new management!!! I have no idea if any of these negative things are true about Best Friends, but I do know that they have been bought and are undergoing alot of positive changes! The hospital is looking better and the staff is getting educated (there is plenty of new staff)! I would try it for yourself! And for all of her many loyal clients, Dr. Habib is still here!!!
Great Vets, Excellent Care I've taken both of my dogs to Best Friend's for years. The vets are excellent (they don't come up with faulty diagnoses to pad a bill) and the majority of the staff are knowledgeable and caring. I'm very grateful for the wonderful care they've given my dogs over the years. They also refer to excellent specialists when necessary. PROS: reduced prices for multiple dogs, clean exam rooms CONS:
Best Friends Animal Hospital WARNING this place is crap!! I've been going to BFAH for about 6-8 months. I have been very disappointed with the front staff. They are rude, unprofessional and make me feel like they don't know what they're doing. They seem so frazzled and irritated. The doctors are okay. Didn't care for Habib, she mentioned about how broke she was, and didn't really seem like she cared about my pets. The thing that I can't stand is how long I have to wait for an appointment.
