Do Not Take Your Pets Here!!! I have been to many animal hospitals, Ive even worked at one, BUT this one takes the cake as far as POOR quality of medicine, Insane staff, and very RUDE unprofessional Veterinarian (Dr Sindy Habib). Not an animal hospital but a NUTHOUSE! This is the last place on earth I would take your pet to! The quality of medicine is awful, especially for the price. Doctor Habib has screamed and cussed so loud at her employees that the entire hospital, including all of the clients in the reception area, have heard! The most unprofessional veterinarian on earth! untrained staff THEY ARE THE WORST HOSPITAL ever they staff is untrained none of them are licensed technician's in the state of CALIFORNIA! Dr. Habib is the worst she has her own child running around the hospital taking sick animals out and playing with them. I have heard inside stories about the hospital from old hospital staff..she is rude and curses at the staff...non of the technician have a RVT license in the state of California so they are not trained technician licensed in the state of California. Not what it used to be I have been going there for about 8 years now and I've noticed a decline in the overall service there. My experience with the doctors have been good, but the front office is not very helpful or organized. Recently (7/16/08), I had one of my cats in to find out why her breathing was so labored. After the exam/consult, I was told there would be an X-Ray, blood drawn and lab work - not a very detailed rundown of services until I got the bill. Saved my dog's life! My dog slipped his leash and was hit by a car! I rushed him to Best Friends and the doctor treated him immediately - on a Sunday. He had to stay in the hospital for a few days but is all better now! My old vet would have just put him down. I am so greatful for the care my dog received! top notch medical care I am so pleased with the care my dog has received since Dr. Sindy took over! The new waiting room is beautiful - now that construction is finished. The staff are always helpful. My pet loves to go there ! After his neuter, we couldn't even see a scar!
My dog DIDN'T die at Best Friends Animal Hospital! As a matter of fact they saved his life! I would be lost without Dr. Habib and her caring team. They seem so insync with each other that it feels like home to my dog. My dog has had many complications through out the yrs and Best Friends has always been on top of his issues. I would hope that people reading these reviews take all of them into account before making any decisions on their pet care.
Best Friends Animal Hospital is under new management!!! I have no idea if any of these negative things are true about Best Friends, but I do know that they have been bought and are undergoing alot of positive changes! The hospital is looking better and the staff is getting educated (there is plenty of new staff)! I would try it for yourself! And for all of her many loyal clients, Dr. Habib is still here!!!
