Do Not Take Your Pets Here!!! I have been to many animal hospitals, Ive even worked at one, BUT this one takes the cake as far as POOR quality of medicine, Insane staff, and very RUDE unprofessional Veterinarian (Dr Sindy Habib). Not an animal hospital but a NUTHOUSE! This is the last place on earth I would take your pet to! The quality of medicine is awful, especially for the price. Doctor Habib has screamed and cussed so loud at her employees that the entire hospital, including all of the clients in the reception area, have heard! The most unprofessional veterinarian on earth! untrained staff THEY ARE THE WORST HOSPITAL ever they staff is untrained none of them are licensed technician's in the state of CALIFORNIA! Dr. Habib is the worst she has her own child running around the hospital taking sick animals out and playing with them. I have heard inside stories about the hospital from old hospital staff..she is rude and curses at the staff...non of the technician have a RVT license in the state of California so they are not trained technician licensed in the state of California. Not what it used to be I have been going there for about 8 years now and I've noticed a decline in the overall service there. My experience with the doctors have been good, but the front office is not very helpful or organized. Recently (7/16/08), I had one of my cats in to find out why her breathing was so labored. After the exam/consult, I was told there would be an X-Ray, blood drawn and lab work - not a very detailed rundown of services until I got the bill. Great Animal Care! We just had 5 major surgeries for our 3 dogs. Dental work, hernia surgery and neuter. All came out with flying colors. The staff was very helpful and caring. Although their prices are MORE than reasonable (I researched) they also helped me to arrange financing through a special financing company with no interest option. I highly reccomend this wonderful pet hospital!!! PROS: Helpful, kind, animal sensitive and clean!!! Well priced too! CONS:
Caring veterinarian We were considering leaving this practice until about 4 years ago, when I met Allison Massenzio. She really seemed to care how my older dog was doing. Dr. Massenzio even sat on the floor to avoid stressing him out. I was shocked that I didn't have to call and ask for test results! Dr M called me with them and spent extra time answering my questions. My dog is at least 11 years old (he's from a shelter), but he's doing well thanks to her.
The DOCTORS here are INCREDIBLE ! THE DOCTORS : I think it's the doctors that make a hospital - & this place has great ones in spades . DR. ALLISON MASSENZIO is the one I met with .. She's direct, loving toward the animals, frank, and absolutely excellent at what she does - for cats AND dogs. She did the vaccinations right in front of me - without a blink of an eye or a peep of dissent from either of my Persian Himalayans. A shot and no yelp ???!! Caring and Bright ! I treat my dog as if he was my child. He gets his yearly check up at the vet. When I moved in May, my friend recommended Best Friends. I am SO thankful! The hospital staff was welcoming and the doctor treated my dog like her own. He has arthritis and the doctor said that there are other ways to help him besides medication. Now he gets acupressure and massage! I can already see a difference. I highly recommend Best Friends! PROS: Acupressure & Knowledgable doctors CONS:
