Bought a use 43' class A in September 2020 ... paid in full. Joc, our salesman made several promises to fix a few minor issues..many still incomplete. To date we are still missing a dual shade, the shade WAS inside the the coach when we bought it. 1. We are missing a set of keys. 2. Berryland is a joke!!! Don’t make the same mistake I did! Buy from somewhere else! Several issues with our brand new travel trailer with zero resolution! Service after the sale does not exist!!!
I bought a brand new 43ft 5th wheel camper here in June, I used the camper one time and had multiple issues. Slides ripping up carpet and linoleum when they came in and out, power outlets not working, a/c not working properly. The list is longer but you get the idea. The camper was back in the shop before I made the first payment. Now it’s November and it’s still in the shop... We are currently working closely with the Martins to resolve this issue.
They offered a firm $55,000 trade value on our four month old toy hauler. Our same model can be found online, used like ours, for $72k to $75k. They said their offer was lower than other dealers because they have the cheapest prices to draw in out of state customers. I thought “okay, I’ll take a hit on trade in value if the purchase price on the unit we want makes up for it.” They then quoted a sales price for the unit we wanted $10k more than any other dealer we’ve talked to. Pass.
We just bought our first fifth wheel from James Coco and couldn't be happier. They were very helpful and they took the time out to show us everything and answer every question highly recommend them 5 stars!!!
Berryland Campers are “The Best” when Hurricane Laura went through my hometown, Lake Charles (I now live in Ponchatoula); My nephew who is with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Department and my niece who is a nurse at CHRISTUS Ochsner St Patrick Hospital needed a place to live because of damage to their homes and they were essential workers having to stay behind. If you are in the Market for a camper call and set an appointment up with James Wolfe. He was fantastic to work with. The Finance manager Mark was also great. It was a long process but worth it in the end.
