Somebody really screwed up on Club Night of the Gene Harris Jazz Fest. While Berryhill had arguably the best performers, the service of the overwhelmed staff was very uneven. Some folks were served almost immediately, we were not. After being seated, we didn't see a menu for more than half an hour—one borrowed from friends at the next table who had arrived much more recently and were served promptly. My $10 Bloody Mary was straight liquor, was told the Mac and cheese was premade so the mushrooms could not be taken out and the angry noodles were not very good. First time a waiter has told me something wasn't good. Also took an hour to get my food.

Still one of the best restaurants in Boise. Service is second to none. Jeff is THE BEST waiter we have ever had. Pairing Jeff's service with great beverage knowledge and fantastic food made for a very memorable 20th anniversary celebration for my wife and I.

I love this place but service just keeps getting worse. I just sat at the bar hoping to have a snack and a beer before started by my weekend. Sat there for 15 minutes, and was only told, I'll be right with you. The woman next to me made an order and 10 minutes later was told, Ohhh yeah- let me out that in for you. I'm sad to say that I just got up and left. Also sad that that was most likely my last visit to Berryhill.
