Owner David Laxer carries on the tradition of excellence begun by his father Bern more than 40 years ago. Beef connoisseurs should make this restaurant first on their list of culinary stops. Known for its large selection of melt-in-your mouth aged beef, it is easy to see why it has won a wall full of awards. The “putting on the ritz” crowd have some 25 types of caviar to ponder and a wine cellar that pushed one half million bottles.

Amazing food, drinks, deserts, atmosphere, and staff. You have to be ready to eat a lot of food, but its so good. The tour after dinner was fun, and the desert room was the best part. I can't wait to go again.

A must live experience! Loved the atmosphere, service, tour, wine selection, the FOOD (anything macadamia) and the dessert room. We are sure to return with friends and family.
It was our first experience to Berns and i loved the look when you first walked in But then we were seated in the first dining room to the right and it was exceptionally loud in there and not a very cozy atmosphere!! Our waiter was nice but not very attentive and the delmonico steak was tough and the only thing hot was the baked potato and the soup! After dinner we did the tour which i did enjoy the wine room and then proceeded to the dessert room which was very nice and the dessert was outstanding!!
Best meal I've ever had, and an amazing experience. Must go!!

There is no better steak or bernaise sauce or wine selection or dessert anywhere! First class service for dinner and in the dessert room. And don't forget to ask for the wine cellar tour!
