Owner David Laxer carries on the tradition of excellence begun by his father Bern more than 40 years ago. Beef connoisseurs should make this restaurant first on their list of culinary stops. Known for its large selection of melt-in-your mouth aged beef, it is easy to see why it has won a wall full of awards. The “putting on the ritz” crowd have some 25 types of caviar to ponder and a wine cellar that pushed one half million bottles.

Berns is my favorite Restaurant of all time! The menu is extensive and every dish is exquisitely prepared. Only the best & Freshest foods are served here and the owners even have an Organic Farm of which some of their vegetables are taken from. Every entre is served with garlic toast, a soup, salad, carrot salad, thin steak onion rings & potato. I especially love the Rhône Room which has a very small private room at the end.. I love to bring family & some of our closest friends here often.
Everything was amazing this was our third trip there, however the two people we brought to celebrate their birthdays it was their first time one turn 65, One turn 75 they truly loved checking out the kitchen, and the wine cellar, they brag about the food, and they love the Dessert Room. I don't remember the young lady that waited on us in the desert room, she did amazing job. Philip was our waiter downstairs, outstanding job as an asset to your company as well.
May have been the worst service I’ve ever had an “experience” restaurant. What a joke.

This restaurant is outstanding from start to finish. Excellent meal, with a full tour of the restaurant from dining rooms to the kitchen and world largest wine cellar and collections of wines. To finish off the night with desserts to die for. I am from California and when I return to Tampa Florida I will return to this great restaurant. I will tell all my friends and family this is a must go to restaurant!
Fantastic food! Amazing service! Loved doing the tour through the kitchen and wine cellar and then headed to the desert room! It was a perfect night! ❤️
Been here before and highly recommend. I'm not a french onion soup guy but oh wow theirs is to die for. Love the delmonico (rib eye) and the dessert room is an absolute must!
My taste buds did not deserve the magic that is Bern’s. Will most definitely be coming back next time I am in Tampa!
