Owner David Laxer carries on the tradition of excellence begun by his father Bern more than 40 years ago. Beef connoisseurs should make this restaurant first on their list of culinary stops. Known for its large selection of melt-in-your mouth aged beef, it is easy to see why it has won a wall full of awards. The “putting on the ritz” crowd have some 25 types of caviar to ponder and a wine cellar that pushed one half million bottles.

I ate at Bern's over 15 years ago in Tampa Fl., it was the best dining experience of my life! The service was impeccable, the food was outrageously good!!!!

Amazing! Châteaubriand is awesome. Tour the kitchen and wine cellar. Make sure to go to the dessert room upstairs!
Traveled from NY to Miami and stopped in Tampa to go to Bern's. It's my absolute favorite. To those saying it's overpriced...I can't say I have ever been to another 5 start restaurant where soup, salad and three sides were included with the price of your steak. I do miss the full-sized Dulce de Leche molten chocolate cake, however.
