My first time in a REAL bike store (10/25/2016). I have never felt comfortable talking bike with shop owners or mechanic's. This was NOT the case at Ben's! When I walked in Austin was very helpful and courteous. I popped a spoke back in late August on had taken the rim to other stores and the mech's just were shaking their heads as I walked in. I've been coming here for 25 years. This place is the last of the true bike shops. The staff is well trained and the owner has a passion for his business. They give you what the internet doesn't give you....customer service
Went into Ben's looking for a new bike. I was unhappy with how mine fit, seemed too cramped when riding it. They could have sold me a new bike but instead encouraged me to come in for a proper bike fitting. So glad I took their advice! What a great experience. They took their time with me, made some adjustments and patiently explained every step of the process. Very impressed. Very pleased with their kindness, honesty and willingness to teach. Such a wonderful shop. Recommend their services to everyone.

Ben's is my go-to place for virtually everything related to cycling. Their prices are great; their people are even better. I can call Vince with any random request - new tires, helmet, crashed my bike and need it tuned up, doesn't matter - and it's done. And not only is it done, these guys know their stuff and know the right questions to ask to make sure that what I'm getting is exactly what I need every single time.
