Exhorbitant Prices but well worth it. – I ate here with a friend during the 'in-between' hours of 4:00-5:00 on a Saturday so it wasn't crowded. I did not have a reservation, and it doesn't seem like you need one. The food was amazing, it made the exhorbitant price tag easy to swallow. Staff members were running around cleaning tables that have just been cleaned, they were lining up napkins and table items like any mis-allignment would have caused catastrophy. good trendy – this place is definitely worth a try. it has a trendy, contemporary look to it. the food is pretty good with generous portions. the staff is very friendly and helpful. the lounge upstairs is a pretty cool place to hang out for drinks if you're not hungry.
Great Overall! – Great service, Great bar upstairs (with a cute little outside deck), Great steaks, salads & desserts. Great place to take a date. Great place for large parties. Great for corporate functions as well. (I've heard their Sunday brunch is Great, too!)
A great dinner – This may not be the place to meet people, but is definitely a wonderful place for dinner. I would recommend making reservations or eating early. The service I received was outstanding, and the food was even better. The recommendations made by our server were perfect, and the restaurant was not too noisy to have a nice conversation. Trendy but Good – It's a hot tredy joint in Rice Village. Great food. Entrees are reasonably priced and good portions. Appetizers are over priced and skimpy. Wine prices are above average, but not outrageous. Worth the trip and the wait. The kitchen is it's strongest point. Upstairs bar is a hang out for the younger crowd and makes a poor holding area for the restaurant que. Downstairs bar is crowded and in the main path of from the kitchen to the tables. private hideaway – I've been to benjy's numerous times, but I've never known about their small dining room upstairs. We had a cozy dinner for two away from the excitement downstairs. For our meal we ventured off the menu for the specials...they did not disappoint.
Best salads in the city!! – This is the best lunch spot in the entire city. The lunch menu features an abundance of entree salads and other gems at reasonable prices. Service is always great, and we always have fun when we eat there. But, we are FANATICAL about the salads. ALL of the salads!! I have never had a better selection of AMAZING salads to choose from!!
Service Fanatic – There are a lot of good restaurants in town- but great food and great service is the reason why we will go back to Benjys.
