I injured my foot in May of 2020 and Dr. Proto performed my surgery on October of 2020. What I loved the most was his bedside manner and the fact that he didn't try to push me into surgery as soon as the injury occurred. We tried other ways to resolve my issue that unfortunately did not work out, but that was fine with me. I am now doing better than ever and have recovered extremely well. My primary care doctor referred me to Dr. Proto when I was having pain in my ankle. Dr. Proto ended up having to do reconstructive surgery on my ankle. Dr. Proto cares about his patience and it shows. I recently had an appointment with my primary care doctor and thanked him for referring me to Dr. Proto. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

I had recent toe fusion surgery on my big toe and Dr. Proto did a superb job. He really does care. He responded immediately to a text message on a weekend when I was worried about my surgical site. He gave me excellent directions to remedy the situation. He was caring and professional and his office staff is above reproach. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family.
Dr. Proto is a wonderful Dr. that cares about his patients. He has given me options in which the last resort would be surgery. He has been answering all my question, that I have asked him about surgery and recovery.
Dr. Proto is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend him! I had a severe Liz Franc break in my left foot a year ago and he had to do surgery to fix it. I was not able to walk for 2 months and the healing process took several months but I feel great now and just had surgery last month to remove all of the hardware.
Very caring & informative about my broken foot care plan. & staff too. Quick appointments, but thorough. Definitely recommend him:)
Dr. Proto Repaired a bone spur and tendon on my foot he was very professional courteous. He explained every step of the process He spent time with me on all office appointments the staff was very friendly and helpful I would recommend Dr. Proto for anyone needing his specialty
