He is the kind of doctor That patients always hope to have. He is knowledgeable and well versed in his area of specialty AND he describes it in an easy format for the patient to understand.
I saw Dr. Proto for a broken ankle, he was able to see me this same day I was diagnosed in the ER. He and his staff were very courteous, professional and patient first. I appreciated how everyone took the time to explain what they were doing as well and answered every question my husband & I had. I will recommend Dr. Proto and his staff to everyone.

If you rupture your Achilles and live in the 757, then Doc Proto is your guy. I'm an avid mountain biker, 61 (not a typo), and finally wore out the tendon. Doc P had me back on my feet in TWO months. He's an awesome surgeon!
Dr. Proto is the best! Very knowledgeable, patient and skilled! From pre-op to post-surgery, he explained every step, made sure I understood and provided top-quality care! His office staff is patient, friendly and very helpful. If it had not been for Dr. Proto, I would still be in pain!

Look no further! Dr. Proto did a great job for my husband’s ankle surgery! We are so grateful for his skill and knowledge. The nurses and office staff that support him are outstanding. I myself have been a patient of his for 18 years. He is very conservative also, avoiding surgery unless necessary. His bedside manner is caring and professional.
