For me Dr Proto was an excellent doctor. The first time I went to him, I only waited about 5 minutes. He did an excellent job removing my ingrown toenail with no pain and no problems afterward. However, for my checkup I arrived the mandatory 15 minutes early and then waited in the exam room for close to an hour. I finally went to the nurses station to find out what was going on. They seemed surprised to see me still there. He came in around 5 minutes later. I would use him again.
Dr. Proto is an excellent doctor! He is very thorough, kind, and spends quality time with his patients selecting the best method of treatment. I had reconstructive foot surgery and would do it again under his care if needed.
He is very pleasant and professional. I feel more info should be given in how to take care of foot after stitches have been removed.
Dr. Benjamin Proto is the epitome of professionalism. As a doctor, he is compassionate, patient, knows his profession-someone you can trust, and talk to. I’m happy with the results of trusting him to do my surgeries! I would refer my family & friends to Dr. Proto!
If your not happy with the first foot doctor and need a second opinion then Dr. Proto is your Doctor...period!! We couldn't have been any happier with the current results of my wife's tendon surgery (second time on the same tendon). The recovery period has is taking 1/3 the time compared to the first one by another doctor.
He and his staff were very professional, helpful and knowledgeable.
Dr. Photo and his staff were most helpful in treating my ankle injury. I would highly recommend.

Love love love Dr Proto! He’s treated two members of our family and treats us like family. He’s wonderful at attempting non surgical fixes but has the technical skills to handle any type of surgery. He’s also not averse to consulting with his colleagues for another perspective. Wonderful office and nursing staff too! Again they treat you like family I can’t say enough about Dr Proto and his staff!!
