Our grandson Angel has Leukemia... It was the worse day of our lives. The staff at the hospital is very nice and knowledgeable this helps a lot. My daughter lives there at the hospital with him which is very hard to do but the staff makes her feel welcome and she is always informed step by step on his care. I thank UCSF very much for all that they do and thank God for picking UCSF as Angel's place of care. Keep up the GREAT work.

November 9, 2016 my 15 yr old daughter was transferred to UCSF. After 24 plus hours of testing, a lymph node removal we heard the word no parents want to hear...Cancer! Since then we have been back almost every week for treatment and surgery. I have never felt more confident, cared for and supported by a medical staff. My grandson is here after being diagnosed with AML leukemia in September... Of course the news of his diagnoses was COMPLETELY devastating to my daughter and the rest of our family, however I will say that the nurses and doctors involved in my grandson's cancer treatment have been absolutely wonderful ....
